Great Gift Ideas: For Kids

Disney has a new game out for children. It’s really a new spin on a old favorite. But before I get into telling you about this game I want to first share some unknown facts about my self. I was raised on Disney movies. They were the only movies I could watch without my parents having to preview them first and the same holds true even today for my own children. So before I tell you about the new game I will share my top 15 Disney movies with you.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Dumbo
Cinderella
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
The Sword in the Stone
Robin Hood
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
Pocahontas
Toy Story (My daughter’s 1st Disney movie)
A Bugs Life (My daughter’s 2nd Disney movie)

These movies really hold special memories for me that I have shared with my children. In addition, they have created some of their own by watching some of the newer movies like Monsters, Inc and Finding Nemo. That is why I consider games such as Disney Bingo
from http://www.screenlifegames.com/ to be a valuable investment. Not only does it combine the characters they love but also wholesome games such as family bingo.

These games are on Dvd and you have the option of choosing from the Disney, Nickelodeon or Thomas the Train Bingo characters. I already have my eye on the Nickelodeon version, which includes the characters from Sponge Bob Square pants.

These games can be purchased at Amazon.com and Drugstore.com, but since we have a Disney store in the mall I’m pretty sure that I can find it there.

I would love for you to share your top five Disney songs, characters or movies.

We love Disney movies around here too. We have them all on VHS tapes that are slowly wearing out, so we are replacing them as Aspen takes a liking to them. Her current favorites are "Lady & The Tramp" and "The Search For Christopher Robin". My older girls each saw a Disney film as their first trip to the movie theater, and those were "Aladdin" for my oldest daughter and "The Lion King" for DD#2.

I was also raised on Disney - Disney channel and Disney movies. The old Disney channel, that is. Back when you could watch a movie without any interruptions. MOsly I remember that fact because my mom would record the different movies from tv to vcr tape.

Some of my favorites:

Aladdin (the first movie I ever saw at the theater)
Mary Poppins (who doesn't like to sing "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious")
Lady & the Tramp
Bambi
Dumbo
