WFMW: Pre-Made Cake Mixes
I found this recpie sometime ago. I had been meaning to try it for some time but, never got around to it until now.
In keeping with thrift this recipe is easy on the budget and sweet in the tummy. It is a super time saver because it can be made ahead and stored in a cool dark place. For those reading along with the "Blogger Book Club" chapter six of the book discusses breads and cakes. The focus of that chapter is to learn to make thrity breads and cakes by finding recipes that don't call for eggs. With the price of eggs being so high meals that call for eggs have become a luxury. Well this recipe is perfect. There are no eggs used in this recipe.
For the cake recipe I doubled it. I baked one and stored one in my pantry.
